Joseph L. Marable died peacefully March 4th 2021 in Hope Hospice & Pavilion Care Center Surrounded by his loved ones after a battle with Cancer. He was born January 12th 1955, to the Late Cleveland Marable and still Living Zenobia Wilson.
In his prime, Joseph was an avid Cyclist and would often be seen biking throughout the City of Providence enjoying the scenery. He would often make pit stops along his travels to visit with his family. He was affectionately known by his Nieces and Nephews as “Uncle Joey” and would usually don his signature black denim jeans and headphones. He never arrived or left without a smile on his face and would spend most of his time making his family laugh and telling stories about growing up in Rhode Island. When he wasn’t cycling, you could find Joseph making stunning visual art on random objects and tiny pieces of paper.
Later in life, Joseph begin to follow the spiritual legacy of his mother Zenobia Wilson and became a dedicated Baptized Jehovah Witness. He loved reading his Bible and talking to everyone about what he learned and his hope for the future. His impact on his family and friends was so positive and will be felt forever by everyone who loved him.
Joseph was a loving Brother, Uncle and Friend. He will be missed dearly by everyone. Joseph is survived by his Mother Zenobia Wilson, Brother Cleveland Marable Jr. Sisters Shirley Marable, Judy Marble, Brenda Hill, Zenai Marble, nieces and nephews, Robert Marable, Tressa Tiodor, Kelly Thomas, Michael Marble, Jermaine Marble, Donnie Marble, Sherilyn Thomas,Brittanny Marble, Rashone Hill, Ronea Hill, Robert Hill and Racheam Hill.
